Apple Valley Homeowners Association
Apple Valley HOA of Moore is a not-for-profit organization established by the builder/developer and required by the city of Moore.
The homeowners who live within the Apples are mandated to pay dues and required to belong to the association.
The Apple Valley homeowner's association is the government of the entire neighborhood. The executive board of directors consists of elected members of the neighborhood.
What is an HOA?
A Homeowners Association is an association of homes within a neighborhood that are each required to join the association and pay the required dues. Owning a home in the neighborhood requires membership in the association. Renters are not allowed to become members of the HOA but must follow all rules, regulations, and protocol.
(A Homeowners Association is different from a Neighborhood Association which is a voluntary group of citizens who choose to join and choose to pay dues, if and when they are assessed.)
Homeowners Associations are primarily concerned with maintaining property values and increasing safety and harmony within their neighborhoods.
The board of directors consists of homeowners in the neighborhood that serve on a volunteer basis. They typically have covenants to enforce and often were established by the developer of the addition.
