FAQ

  • chevron_rightDo I have to pay dues & be in the HOA? (Updated)
Yes, membership in the homeowners association is mandatory for all property owners in this neighborhood. While renters are not official members of the HOA, they are still required to adhere to all community rules and regulations. The City of Moore mandates that all new residential developments include a homeowners association to ensure the long-term preservation of property values.
  • chevron_rightHow do I know what the rules are? (Updated)
The neighborhood covenants outline all community rules and are available for download as PDFs on the Documents page of this website. If you are unable to access these files, please contact us, and we will be happy to email hard copies to you.
  • chevron_rightHow do I pay my dues? (Updated)
Annual dues notices are distributed at the beginning of January each year. If you believe your account is past due, please contact our property management company to discuss payment arrangements; we are happy to work with you. To make a payment online, please visit TownSq.

To pay your dues online go Neighborhood Services Corporation site and click "Pay Online".

Their contact information can be found on our property management page on this website.
  • chevron_rightHow do I report a covenant violation? (Updated)
Our code enforcement committee regularly patrols all neighborhood streets to identify and log covenant violations. Most violations have already been documented and are currently being addressed. If you believe a violation has been overlooked, please report it to us via the "Contact Us" link at the top of the homepage page on this website.
  • chevron_rightWhat does the HOA do for us? (Updated)
The Apple Valley HOA is dedicated to the professional maintenance, operation, and repair of all common areas within our communities. Our responsibilities include the ongoing care of neighborhood entrances, sprinkler systems, and designated green spaces, such as mowing, landscaping, insurance coverage, and tax obligations. Furthermore, we work to protect and enhance property values for all residents by consistently enforcing neighborhood covenants, Architectural Guidelines, and local city ordinances to ensure our community remains both attractive and highly desirable.
  • chevron_rightWhere does my dues money go?
The dues pay for mowing/landscaping contractors, water and electricity for the entrance lights and sprinker systems, the insurance premiums and property taxes on all common areas.

The dues also pay for the website and the administrative expenses of notifying all homeowners of meetings, and the mailing and collection of dues invoices.

The dues also pay for any upgrade or maintenance to the common areas as they are needed.
  • chevron_rightWho maintains the ponds? (Updated)
The ponds are professionally maintained by a third-party service provider in conjunction with our landscaping crew. If you notice any issues, please contact the board directly so we can dispatch the team to inspect and address the situation.
