FAQ

  • chevron_rightDo I have to pay dues & be in the HOA?
Yes, the association for this neighborhood is mandatory for every homeowner. Renters are not members of the HOA but must still follow all rules and regulations. The city of Moore requires all new neighborhoods to include a mandatory homeowners association in order to maintain property values.
  • chevron_rightHow do I know what the rules are?
The rules are the neighborhood covenants. These can be found in PDF format on the documents page of this website. If you cannot access these for any reason, we will be happy to promptly email you hard copies of any documents.
  • chevron_rightHow do I pay my dues?
Notices are sent out around the first of January every year. If you think you might be behind, please call our property management company for payment arrangements. We will work with you!

To pay your dues online go Neighborhood Services Corporation site and click "Pay Online".

Their contact information can be found on our property management page on this website.
  • chevron_rightHow do I report a covenant violation?
The code enforcement committee regularly drives every street in the neighborhood to log covenant violations. Most violations have already been logged and are currently being addressed. If we have missed something, please let us know by using the contact us page on this website.
  • chevron_rightWhat does the HOA do for us?
The purpose of the Apple Valley HOA is to meet the direct obligation and responsibility for the maintenance, operation, and repair of the common areas within the Apples communities.

Maintenance and upkeep of the common areas includes mowing, landscaping, insuring, and paying taxes on all of the common areas; which include the entrances to the neighborhoods, the sprinkler systems and other green space areas.

Maintaining the highest possible property values for all is accomplished through the enforcement of the neighborhood covenants, Architectural Guidelines, and city ordinances to ensure desirability and attractiveness within the neighborhood.
  • chevron_rightWhen is someone going to clean up the ponds?
The ponds are maintained through a pond company and our maintenance crew. For maintenance issues please contact the board and let us know and we will send them out to check on it.
  • chevron_rightWhere does my dues money go?
The dues pay for mowing/landscaping contractors, water and electricity for the entrance lights and sprinker systems, the insurance premiums and property taxes on all common areas.

The dues also pay for the website and the administrative expenses of notifying all homeowners of meetings, and the mailing and collection of dues invoices.

The dues also pay for any upgrade or maintenance to the common areas as they are needed.
